Parchment has been the subject of several newspaper and magazine articles over the years and co-owner Dave Schroeder was a contributor to Gifts and Decorative Accessories (a retail industry trade magazine) for two years.

Three articles about Parchment are included below. The first was published in 2006 at the time of Parchment's 10th anniversary. The second appeared in Gifts and Decorative Accessories Magazine when Parchment won the national Retailer Excellence Award for store design in conjunction with the opening of its current and expanded store in 2001. The last article describes Parchment's unique and popular children's play area.
